We all know desperate times call for desperate measures. Even if you turn to Jesus as a last resort, it’s not too late for him to give you a life of freedom.

Hurting someone because they hurt you doesn’t end the cycle. It perpetuates it. And it makes you look like the person you dislike.

Autonomy looks appealing on the surface. After all, having the freedom to do what you want to do is viewed as living successfully. But you were made for something better than that.

Red or Blue. Left or Right. For or Against. It sometimes feels like the United States isn’t very united. There’s something we can do about that, and it has less to do with our rights and more to do with our responsibility.

We’re using more words than ever before, and we’re thinking less about them than ever before. That’s cause for concern because our words can either build someone up or tear them down.

It’s not hard to look around and see that there is something just… off. The world is not as it should be. And for that matter, neither is the Church at large. But, what if there is hope? What if looking back can offer us solutions for the future?
